Round Bolster Peacock

Peacock is the brightest colour in our round yoga bolster range, a deep blue-green that stands out on a grey or black mat. Under the cover it’s the same bolster as the rest: 70cm long, 24cm diameter, 1.4kg, with cotton batting around a stable centre.

The microfibre cover is removable and machine washable and has a carry handle. It’s used for restorative yoga, supported rest at the end of a class and seated meditation.

How to use it

A supported twist is a good pose to try first. Sit with your right hip against one end of the bolster and your knees bent to the left. Turn your chest toward the bolster, place your hands either side of it and lower your torso along it, resting one cheek on top. Stay for a few minutes, then swap sides.

Side-lying rest is another. Lie on your side with the bolster in front of you and hug it, with your top knee resting on the far end. Some people like this position more than lying flat on the back.

For a gentle backbend, lay the bolster across the mat and lie back over it so it sits under your shoulder blades, with your head on the floor or a folded blanket. Move it lower or higher until it feels comfortable.

Care

Wash the cover on a gentle cycle and let it air dry out of strong sun. The inner stays dry: wipe it with a damp cloth if it needs a clean.
