The Salute the Sun yoga set is a rectangular yoga bolster, a Diamond Grip yoga block and a 240cm black yoga strap bought together for $125. It covers the three props most classes ask for, so it suits someone setting up a home practice or a teacher putting together a kit for a new student.
What’s in the set
Rectangular yoga bolster
69 x 26 x 13cm and 650g, light enough to carry with its handle. The cover is a plush fabric with a suede feel. It comes off with a hidden zip and can be washed by hand or in the machine. Inside is encased Dacron fill with a core panel that keeps the bolster’s shape.
Diamond Grip yoga block
22 x 13 x 6.5cm and 250g, with a textured surface that gives your hand something to grip. The core is recycled EVA and the outer doesn’t absorb moisture.
Yoga strap
A black strap, 240cm long and 3.8cm wide, made from 50% cotton and 50% nylon, with a metal rectangle ring to fasten it.

How to use it
Put the bolster under your knees for savasana, sit on its edge for meditation, or lie back along it in a restorative pose.
The block brings the floor closer. In triangle or half moon, rest your lower hand on it instead of reaching for the floor. You can also sit on it in a kneeling pose, or put it between your thighs in bridge.
Use the strap when your hands don’t reach your feet. In a seated forward fold, loop it around the soles and hold one end in each hand. Lying on your back, loop it around one foot and raise that leg toward the ceiling. The rectangle ring lets you fasten it into a loop for shoulder stretches.
Care
Wash the bolster cover by hand or on a gentle machine cycle and let it air dry. Wipe the block with a damp cloth. Hand wash the strap if it needs it and hang it to dry.
