How to use it

Sitting is where a small lift makes a difference. Sit cross-legged on top of the block and your hips come up just enough to let your knees drop and your back stay upright. A standard block tips some people too far forward, and this one is gentler.

It gives you three heights: 5cm lying flat, 20cm on its side and 30cm on its end. Use the flat position under your sit bones in seated forward folds, and the taller ones under your hand in triangle or half moon.

In a squat, put the block under your heels if they lift off the floor. The top is wide enough for both heels at once, so you can settle into the squat without balancing on a narrow edge.

Who it suits

Compared with our standard 23 x 15 x 7.5cm foam blocks, this one is longer and wider but 2.5cm lower, at the same 210g. Pick it if you mostly sit on your block or put it under your heels. If you mainly rest a hand on a block in standing poses, a standard block is the more usual choice.

Care
