The 90cm x 45cm peanut Swiss ball is a blue exercise ball shaped like a peanut. It moves forwards and back but not sideways, which makes it feel more stable than a round ball. It’s a little smaller than our 100cm peanut ball, so it suits smaller adults and tighter spaces.
It’s anti-burst with a non-slip surface, and a spare plug is included. You’ll need your own pump to inflate it.

Who it suits
People who are new to ball exercises, or who feel wobbly on a round Swiss ball, usually find a peanut ball easier because it can’t roll away sideways. Older users often like it for the same reason, and it makes a low, steady seat for gentle balance work.
How to use it
Sit astride it with a foot on each side and rock slowly forwards and back. Lie face down along it and let your arms and legs rest on the floor for a relaxed stretch through the back. On your back, put your calves on the ball and lift your hips into a bridge. Holding the ends gives you something steady to grip while you get used to it.
To inflate, pump it most of the way, give it a day to settle, then top it up to size.
The 100cm x 50cm red peanut ball is the bigger version. If you need a round ball, our Swiss ball size guide explains how to pick one by height.
Care
Clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap, and keep it off rough ground. Store it away from heaters and direct sun.
