These cork ab sliding discs are a pair of 18cm gliding discs that go under your hands or feet so they slide across the floor during an exercise. Sliding makes familiar moves harder, because your muscles have to control the movement both out and back.
Each disc has two faces. The smooth side goes down on carpet, and the textile side is for hard, smooth floors such as wood, tiles or vinyl. They’re made of polypropylene and cork, 9mm thick and about 110g each, so they pack flat into a bag.

How to use them
- Mountain climbers: hands on the floor and a disc under each foot, then slide your knees in and out one at a time.
- Knee tucks: from plank with both feet on the discs, draw your knees towards your chest and push back out.
- Reverse lunges: put one foot on a disc, slide it back into a lunge, then pull it back in.
- Side lunges: slide one foot out to the side and back while you bend the other knee.
- Hamstring curls: lie on your back with your heels on the discs, lift your hips and slide your heels in and out.
Go slowly the first few times, since the discs move more freely on a smooth floor than you’d expect. They’re common in Pilates and barre classes; see our Pilates equipment for more, pair them with a set of loop bands, or browse our yoga accessories.
Care
Wipe them with a damp cloth. Keep the textile side free of grit, which can scratch a wooden floor.
