This pink Bloom yoga brick is a 10cm-tall foam block, so it gives you more lift than a standard 7.5cm yoga block. That height suits people who are new to yoga, or anyone who can’t yet reach the floor comfortably in forward bends.
The brick is high-density EVA foam rated at 40C hardness and weighs 415g. It’s firm under your hand and much lighter than a cork or wooden block, so it’s easy to take to class.

How to use it
Blocks tend to work best in pairs, and a second brick opens up more options. With one under each hand in a standing forward fold, you can rest your weight on them and let your head hang without rounding hard through the upper back. In a low lunge, a brick either side of the front foot lets you lift your chest while the back knee stays on the mat.
You can also sit on a brick. For a few minutes of meditation or breathing, sit on it cross-legged so your hips are higher than your knees. Put a folded blanket on top if you’d like it softer.
For a reclined rest, place one brick lengthways along your spine between the shoulder blades, with a second under your head, and let your arms fall open to the sides. Start with both bricks at their lowest height and only go higher if it feels easy.
Prefer another colour? The same brick comes in white and blue, and the whole range is in our yoga blocks and wedges.
Care
A damp cloth is all it needs after most sessions. Let it air dry before you stack it with other blocks, and keep it away from heaters and hot cars.
