Bloom Anti Burst Yoga Ball 55cm

The Bloom anti-burst yoga ball in 55cm is sized for people from about 140cm to 165cm tall. It comes in four colours, white, green, brown and red, so you can pick one that doesn’t look like gym equipment in the lounge.

The surface has a mix of wave-shaped stripes and small bumps. That dual texture gives your hands, feet and skin more to grip, which makes the ball easier to control in balance work. It’s anti-burst, so if it gets punctured it lets the air out slowly and shrinks down instead of popping.

How to use it

At 55cm this is the ball for shorter adults. Sitting on it with your feet flat and hips level with your knees is the first thing to get right; if your knees end up higher than your hips, pump it up a little more.

Good starting exercises are seated balance with one foot lifted, bridges with your heels on the ball, and wall squats with the ball behind your lower back. People also use it as a seat for part of the working day.

Inflate it in two stages. Pump it most of the way, leave it overnight so the material can stretch, then top it up and check the height against a 55cm mark on a wall.

Care
