At 240cm it’s a good all-round length. You can hold it short for standing poses or use most of it for reclined stretches and loops around the body.

How to use it

Standing poses are a good place to use a longer strap. In extended hand-to-big-toe pose, stand on one leg, loop the strap around the ball of the other foot and hold it in the same-side hand. Straighten the lifted leg forward as far as it goes while you keep both hips level and your standing leg strong.

For dancer pose, loop the strap around the front of your back ankle, take the strap over the same shoulder and hold it with both hands overhead. Walking your hands down the strap brings the foot closer as you open up.

Lying down, loop it around one foot for a reclined hamstring stretch, then take the leg out to the side. The 240cm length leaves enough strap to hold with both hands while your shoulders stay on the floor.

To make a fixed loop, thread the free end through the ring and pull it to size. A loop that holds your upper arms shoulder-width apart is useful in downward dog if your elbows tend to splay.
