A yoga mat bag keeps your mat clean on the way to class and gives your keys and phone a pocket to live in. We have zip-up canvas tube bags, open shoulder totes, cork bags and a tall cotton tote with room for blocks and a towel beside the mat.If you’d rather not carry a bag, a mat carry strap wraps around the rolled mat so you can sling it over your shoulder.

The canvas tube bags take mats up to 66cm wide and under 10mm thick, and the Salute The Sun shoulder bag's front mat pocket takes mats up to 68cm wide and under 8mm thick. Standard 61cm mats fit our bags, but the extra wide and 2 person mats are too wide for the canvas bags and the totes.

The canvas tube bags and the cork yoga mat bag have air holes, which help a damp mat dry out. Two of the Bloom straps are long enough to use for stretching in class: the adjustable strap is 150cm and the carrier stretching strap is 180cm.

Should I get a mat bag or a carry strap?

A bag keeps the mat clean and holds your keys, phone and water bottle as well. A strap is lighter and quicker to put on. Some straps are made for mats under 8mm thick, so check the product page if your mat is thicker.

Is there a bag that fits blocks and a towel too?

Yes. The Bloom yoga tote is 88cm tall and holds the mat upright with room beside it for blocks, a strap or a towel. The Salute The Sun shoulder bag also has a main compartment for gear, with the mat in its own front pocket.
