Which length to choose

Our cotton straps come in 180cm, around 240cm and 305cm. The 180cm is easiest to handle in seated work and packs smallest. The 240cm has enough length to loop around both feet in a forward fold or around your body in reclined poses, with spare to hold. The 305cm is for tall people and for bigger loops in restorative poses. If you’re not sure, 240cm is the safe middle choice.

How to use it

Binds are a good use for this length. In bound side angle, if your hands don’t meet under your front thigh and behind your back, hold the strap between them. Keep the chest turning up, and walk your hands closer along the strap over the weeks.

In a seated twist with one knee bent, hold the strap in both hands behind your back to help you sit tall while you turn. In a standing forward fold, hold it behind your back with straight arms and let your arms fall towards the floor for a shoulder stretch.

To make a loop, feed the end through both rings and back through the inner one, then pull. Lift the top ring to release it.

Care

Hand wash in cold water and hang it to dry. Loosen the D-ring first so it dries evenly.
