The webbing is 3.8cm wide. At 305cm there’s enough length for big loops around the body, and enough spare to wrap around your hands for a firm grip.

How to use it

For teachers, a long strap adapts to anyone in the room. The same strap can go around a tall student’s feet in a seated fold or be buckled into a small loop for someone else’s upper arms, so a single set covers a whole class.

In reclined bound angle, pass the strap behind your lower back, forward over your thighs and around both feet, and buckle it at the front. There’s plenty of length even with your knees wide.

For a hamstring stretch with both legs at once, lie on your back, loop the strap around both feet and hold the ends as you lift your legs towards the ceiling. A shorter strap can run out here if you’re tall.

In a seated forward fold, there’s enough strap to loop around both feet and wrap the ends once around each hand, which gives you a firmer hold than pinching the tail between your fingers.

A long strap also doubles as a carry strap. Buckle a loop at each end of your rolled mat and hang the middle over your shoulder.

Care

Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry over a line in a loose zigzag so the whole length dries.
